Traumatic hip dislocation can be treated by doing a close reduction, which means that without surgery the dislocated hip can be maneuvered into place.

TPLO fee at VSO is NOK 40,000 and includes X-rays taken before and after surgery, IV catheter, general anaesthesia, pre- and post-op pain medication and a collar that must be worn for 2 weeks, until suture removal. Not included in this fee are any follow-up appointments as most clients choose to have these carried out at their local vet.
