VSO - Veterinary specialists in Oslo's main goal is to support the population of dogs and cats in Oslo and the surrounding area that need complex operations.
Owner and managing director of VSO, Dr. Helia Zamprogno is a board-certified veterinarian with 25 years of experience and 5 years of practice in Oslo.
Dr. Helia Zamprogno has been in love with animals since she was a little girl, and becoming a veterinarian was a childhood dream. She was admitted to veterinary school in 1994 and became a doctor of veterinary medicine in 1999. After 3 year residency program at University of Illinois, USA in 2021, she achieved double board certification in Small Animal Surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. The highest level of training in small animal surgery in the US and Europe.
She practiced small animal surgery in several countries, including Brazil, USA, Canada, New Zealand and now Norway. This experience provided a good exchange of knowledge with colleagues with different backgrounds and incredible learning.
